Taking action to improve preventive healthcare tomorrow 

According to the WHO, between 40,000 and 60,000 deaths could be avoided in France if more and better Prevention measures were taken. With around 2% of total healthcare expenditure devoted to Prevention in France, compared with 3% to 4% on average in Europe, the OECD recognizes that Prevention remains the weak link in the French healthcare system... Since late 2016, the Ramsay Générale de Santé Corporate Foundation has set itself the mission of promoting a new form of Health Prevention that is accessible, guilt-free and motivating. Drawing on the Ramsay Générale de Santé Group's expertise as a healthcare operator, the Corporate Foundation aims to drive, federate and animate a community of generations, convinced that prevention is the best answer to staying healthy throughout one's life.

It's from this desire to change the paradigm, to move away from all cure to more prevention, that Health Prevention Meetings, in partnership with l'Express and BFM Business, was born, with its first edition held on May 15, 2018. On this occasion, doctors, economists, patient associations, start-ups, institutional and government representatives, all will gather at the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris, around Christophe Barbier, editorial advisor to the Express to reflect on this major public health topic.
