Who we are
The Ramsay Santé Group Corporate Foundation
The mission of the Ramsay Santé Corporate Foundation is to promote and educate people about preventive healthcare. As an active foundation, its commitment takes the form of support for associations through the implementation of actions tailored to the needs of populations, the creation of cross-disciplinary dynamics and the sharing of knowledge.
Guided by a scientific board, the Foundation develops public-interest initiatives. These initiatives aim to inform, educate and encourage the adoption of preventive behaviors, drawing on the expertise of Ramsay Santé Group employees and doctors.
The Foundation is also a driving force for innovation and experimentation. Through its Prevent2Care incubation program for start-ups and associations, it supports innovative projects aimed at improving preventive healthcare.
While the Foundation operates mainly in France, it also undertakes preventive health education initiatives in Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Health Prevention what is it?
Initially, and according to the WHO's 1948 definition, prevention is the set of measures aimed at avoiding or reducing the number and severity of diseases, accidents and handicaps. It distinguishes 3 types of prevention:
- primary prevention, which aims to avoid the onset of disease by acting on its causes
- secondary prevention, which aims to detect pathologies early in order to intervene effectively
- tertiary prevention, aimed at reducing recurrence and disability
Today, the WHO advocates a shift from prevention, i.e. action on individual risk factors, to health promotion, understood as action on the determinants of health.
Health prevention is therefore understood to mean all actions, attitudes and behaviors designed to avoid the occurrence of disease or injury, or to maintain and improve health.
40 to 60,000 deaths
could be avoided if more and better
and better prevention.
