Health crisis

It's normal to feel more stressed during a health crisis. A healthy lifestyle can help your physical and mental health. A balanced diet, sufficient sleep, regular exercise and frequent contact with family and friends can help reduce feelings of fear, sadness, anxiety, isolation or anger. On the other hand, risky behavior (excessive drinking, smoking, drugs or other addictive behaviors such as online gambling...) won't help you cope with the situation, and can have very harmful long-term effects. Numerous telephone help lines are available if you feel the need to speak to a health professional.
