General

If you're stressed and want to stop smoking, the two are not mutually exclusive. Quitting smoking also means quitting nicotine. Nicotine is an exciting substance. Quitting smoking will make you feel calmer and less stressed in your day-to-day life. A feeling of stress may appear in the first days/months of quitting smoking, due to the sensation of withdrawal, and can be managed with nicotine substitutes. To manage your stress and help you stop smoking, we recommend that you take part in sporting activities, relaxation exercises or other similar methods.
