Générations Prévention
A PLATFORM FOR REFLECTION AND ACTION THAT SUPPORTS, PROMOTES AND EVALUATES PREVENTIVE HEALTH INITIATIVES IN LOCAL AREAS
Générations Prévention is a Think & Do Tank whose mission is to encourage the emergence and implementation of new preventive healthcare solutions throughout France.
It was created in 2021 on the initiative of the Ramsay Sante FoundationLes entreprises pour la Cité (LepC) network and theInstitut du Marketing Social (IMS). By pooling the prevention expertise of the Foundation of private hospital and primary care leader Ramsay Santé, the know-how of the LepC network in the field of societal commitment, and the IMS community of behavioral change specialists, Générations Prévention aims to federate preventive healthcare players and initiatives. Its aim is to encourage the emergence and implementation of new preventive healthcare solutions by highlighting and providing extra-financial support for local projects. Using data collected in the field, Générations Prévention intends to produce and share resources to promote a culture of prevention within the healthcare ecosystem.

Générations Prévention gas pedal: the 1st program to support preventive health initiatives in the public interest
The Générations Prévention Accelerator supports preventive health initiatives led by associations/local authorities for a maximum of 12 months.
This support draws on the expertise of health and safety professionals, and offers privileged access to their networks. Skills-building workshops are also organized according to the needs of the winners. In the run-up to the 2024 Olympic Games, the theme chosen for the first call for initiatives was empowerment through physical activity.
Empowerment* through physical activity aims to make individuals actors in their own health and well-being, through physical activity. Through this support, Générations Prévention aims to promote the active participation and experience of citizens in health prevention projects linked to physical activity.
* Empowerment, the key concept of this call for initiatives, is an essential process in the long-term behavioral change of individuals. It translates into better social integration, enhanced capabilities and improved self-esteem, leading to empowerment.
Nine associations supported over 12 months
They have joined the 1st Générations Prévention acceleration program.
These associations are representative of the world of preventive health care, rooted in their local area, with an initiative focused on physical activity. They range in size from small to large organizations, with varying target audiences. They benefited from a diagnosis and assessment of their needs. Then, over the course of the year, they followed an adapted support program, with the expertise of Générations Prévention.
