Is meditation suitable for children to relieve stress, develop concentration...?
Just like adults, children can sometimes experience stressful periods, putting them in states of agitation or anxiety. Meditation can be a way of soothing their stress and helping them to regain their composure. Its effects can be felt at the moment of practice, but also at other times of the day. Sessions can be as little as a few minutes a day for younger children, or as long as 45 minutes for teenagers. To familiarize yourself with the techniques, there are a number of books dedicated to meditation specially adapted for children.
