How and where to get an STI/STD diagnosis?

Categories FAQ
STDS / STIS
General

It is possible to be diagnosed with an STI/STI through screening. You can ask your doctor to order a test, or your doctor can suggest one if he or she observes any suggestive signs. These tests are usually carried out in a laboratory. They are either blood tests or local samples, depending on the type of STI/STD. There are STI/STD diagnostic centers (CIDDIST) which carry out these tests free of charge, and prescribe appropriate treatments. Find the list on the Sida Info Service website.
