Are you expecting a child and thinking of using hypnosis to manage your stress? Why not, as long as it's proposed by a recognized health professional (doctor, psychotherapist...) who has identified your source of stress and feels that hypnosis can help. In the case of smoking cessation, the effectiveness of hypnosis has not been formally demonstrated by studies. This technique, which may nevertheless be suitable for some women wishing to stop smoking during pregnancy, will benefit from being complemented by more recognized techniques (cognitive-behavioral therapy, etc.).
