What are the symptoms of sleep paralysis?
Sleep paralysis is a sleep disorder in which the person, on the verge of falling asleep or waking up, is conscious but unable to make the slightest movement or speak. This may be accompanied by hallucinations (auditory, visual, etc.) or even impressions of oppression or imminent death. Fatigue, stress and anxiety are among the incriminating factors. One person in 5 is likely to experience such a (bad) experience at least once in his or her life.
