What gentle activities can help combat a sedentary lifestyle?

Categories FAQ
Sedentary lifestyle
General

To be active, you don't necessarily have to be a confirmed athlete. Gentle activities are entirely possible. These are activities that meet three criteria in addition to increasing energy expenditure: breathing is almost normal, conversation remains possible and the heart is not accelerated. Depending on the individual's physical condition, these may include activities such as walking, certain light housework and gardening activities, walking the dog, playing pétanque or yoga, and so on.
