General

Although a sedentary lifestyle is a proven factor in obesity, the reverse is not the case. Obesity does not prevent the practice of physical activity, but it can limit the practice of certain high-intensity sporting activities. In the case of obesity, it is essential to maintain sufficient physical activity to maintain energy expenditure and the maintenance or development of muscle mass, with gentle physical activity such as walking, yoga, cycling, etc.
