Is it better to follow a restrictive diet or a balanced diet?

General

An analysis of several studies has shown that most weight-loss diets don't work. In fact, repeated restrictive diets lead to almost systematic weight regain, or even an increase in weight compared to the initial weight (yo-yo effect). Food rebalancing, on the other hand, allows you to reposition the various food groups within the framework of structured meals. This can sometimes enable you to return to your ideal weight without further effort or frustration.
