What are the consequences of snacking?
Eating small quantities outside of meals is not necessarily harmful, but it is important to respect the nutritional balance of the day/week by not exceeding one's needs. Nibbling can lead to an increase in calories (which is not the case when meals are shifted or segmented). What we're seeing today is that the eating day has become longer, without necessarily leading to an increase in calorie intake. The impact of nibbling will therefore depend on its frequency, content and balance with other meals.
