Can we follow the PNNS advice with our eyes closed?
The recommendations of the PNNS (Programme National Nutrition Santé) are trustworthy: they are based on the recommendations of scientific experts and have been set up by the French Ministry of Health. Their aim: to improve our state of health through diet and physical activity. However, they should not be considered as daily injunctions, but as benchmarks to aim for. They exist for the general population, and are also available for populations with specific needs (children, teenagers, pregnant women).
