Hyperphagia

Bulimic hyperphagia corresponds to recurrent episodes during which the person compulsively consumes large quantities of food. But unlike bulimia, these episodes are not followed by compensatory behaviors (induced vomiting, taking laxatives, etc.). Loss of control and guilt are constant. Judgment is out of the question! Behavioral and cognitive-behavioral therapy seems to be the best option; in some cases, it has led to a 50% reduction in attacks. If you think you have this disorder, consult your doctor.
