How many times a week should I eat meat? And what kind of meat?
There is no specific consumption requirement for meat. According to the French National Nutrition and Health Plan, it's not necessary to eat poultry, meat, fish or eggs every day, but you can alternate with foods that provide plant proteins, such as pulses or cereal products (whole or semi-complete at best). Meat consumption (excluding poultry) should not exceed 500g per week (i.e. 3 to 4 steaks). In addition, charcuterie consumption should be limited to 150g per week (1 slice of ham, half a packet of bacon, one sausage, two slices of pâté).
