Are video games on smartphones as addictive as console/pc games?
This question has been little investigated, but it is considered that video games of all kinds present various addictive elements. It might therefore be thought that smartphone games are just as addictive as console/pc games. The problem with mobile games for addicts is that they don't prevent the player from living: it's "easy" to play them at any time, as cell phones are always available, wherever the person is (work, family, friends, school...), with the risk of being tempted to access them at any time and thus cut yourself off from the rest.
