Why is quitting smoking harder for some than others?

For most people, it's not easy to give up smoking because of the acquired dependency on tobacco that occurs even if you only smoke a few cigarettes a day. However, we are not all equal when it comes to tobacco dependence, which takes three forms: physical, psychological and behavioral. Some people will find it easier to stop smoking than others, whatever their level of consumption.
