What is tobacco-free month?
Tobacco-Free Month is a nationwide initiative that organizes a collective challenge in November, inviting smokers to quit together for 30 days. The first month of cessation is the most difficult. This program uses the collective momentum to create a climate of solidarity and support between people who are going through the same experience of quitting smoking at the same time. Beyond the 30 days, people are of course encouraged to continue, as the chances of success are significantly increased at this stage.
