Reasons for stopping

How long you smoke and how much you smoke determine your risk of developing a disease. However, it would appear that the duration of tobacco consumption is even more detrimental than the quantity smoked to the possible development of cancer. In other words, smoking a pack a day for 20 years is more dangerous than smoking two packs a day for 1 year.
