How can I keep my children calm on the move?

It's not always easy to keep your children calm on car or train journeys, especially the little ones. The longer the journey, the less they can hold still. M

But don't worry, there are ways to keep them occupied without a screen.

You can offer them challenges such as riddles, stories to be invented by several people, or the famous "I'm going on a trip and I'm taking...". For little observers, games like "I see, I see" or the challenge of counting cars of a certain color work well. Family songs and rhymes can also create a happy atmosphere.

If you have some with you, you can give them a notebook and some pencils to draw what they see, or an activity book with coloring pages.

Finally, if you're driving, plan regular breaks to allow them to stretch and release a little energy before setting off again calmly.
