Screen addiction

A number of studies are trying to understand why some people develop develop a pathological relationship (characterized by behavioral signs of dependence: isolation, discomfort when disconnected, loss of interest in real life...) with screens, while others do not. It would seem that a number of factors are involved, linked to the individual, his or her context and the characteristics of the digital activity practised. Most often, the digital activity responsible for an addiction is Internet use (online games, virtual relationships, etc.). It is also worth noting that an addicted person has psychological predispositions (depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, traumatic experiences, impulsive behavior...).
