When does sleep deprivation start? What are the different sleep disorders?
You're sleep-deprived if you feel tired during the day and/or have trouble staying awake. There are various sleep disorders: insomnia (difficulty falling asleep, night-time awakenings, early awakening), hypersomnia (excessive need for sleep), narcolepsy (excessive sleep time), snoring, sleep apnea (interruption of breathing during the night), restless legs syndrome, sleep-wake rhythm disorders, somnambulism and somniloquy (talking or making sounds during the night).
