Which eating habits damage the kidneys?

Eating habits

Eating too much fat and salt has an impact on the kidneys. Indeed, the accumulation of fat in the arteries will contribute to clogging the renal arteries, increasing the risk of hypertension and kidney disease in the long term. Sodium, contained in salt, also increases blood pressure and thus the risk of hypertension. This increase in blood pressure can tighten, narrow or weaken arteries, which can then no longer carry enough blood to the kidneys. Damaged kidneys will no longer be able to eliminate all waste products and excess fluid, further increasing blood pressure and leading to kidney failure.
