I'm a vegetarian, what can I eat?
A vegetarian diet excludes all animal flesh (meat and fish), but allows eggs and dairy products. To ensure adequate protein intake in terms of quantity and quality, the secret is to combine cereals and legumes (lentils, chickpeas, dried beans, etc.). For fragile populations such as children, you need to pay particular attention to iron intake from sources other than meat (legumes, vegetables), as well as vitamin B12 intake. Don't hesitate to ask your doctor or a nutritionist for advice.
