I only have a 20-minute lunch break, how can I eat slowly?
The time we take to eat is important: our brain needs time to receive signals from the stomach that we are eating. It is said that it takes about 20 minutes for the brain to let us know that we have eaten enough. If you don't want to eat too quickly, you can devote your 20 minutes to the main course and take some "on-the-go" food for dessert: cut-up fruit, yoghurt drinks... Take the time to chat, too, and devote this time entirely to the meal, so as to enjoy it more fully (no telephone/computer/TV).
