Is it possible to vary your diet when following a vegan diet?
A vegan diet involves the total elimination of meat/fish/egg and dairy groups, which are necessary for a balanced diet. In fact, the exclusion of all animal products makes certain deficiencies, such as vitamin B12, inevitable. It can therefore be difficult with this type of diet to cover all the body's needs, as well as all the essential amino acids. To limit deficiencies, it is absolutely essential to vary your diet by diversifying sources of cereals, fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts, tubers, ..... It's also important to be monitored by a doctor, who can prescribe supplements as required.
