Does drinking make you lose weight?

Categories FAQ

Liquid calories

Studies have shown that, when dieting, weight loss is greater if water consumption is higher. However, this relationship has not been demonstrated outside the context of a diet. Some waters, known as "slimming waters", are rich in Magnesium, which facilitates intestinal transit and may be associated with a slimming effect, but no study has been able to prove this effect. In any case, water accounts for 60% of our body weight and is constantly being eliminated (through urine, perspiration, etc.), so it's important to drink plenty, even before you feel thirsty.
