Am I totally protected by taking PrEP?
PrEP is an HIV prevention method. It is a drug that prevents the virus from entering the body in the hours following high-risk intercourse. This new device requires regular medical follow-up and screening for other STIs that cannot be prevented. Condoms are still recommended. This means of prevention is aimed in particular at people at risk who do not always use condoms. This device is available on prescription only. For further information, please talk to your doctor.
