What is Chemsex? What are the risks?

Consequences

Chemsex is a term combining "chemical" and "sex", and is a dangerous practice that combines drug-taking and sex. The practice is particularly prevalent in relationships between men, but is becoming increasingly common in all sexual relationships. People who indulge in this practice are looking for euphoria, connection with their partners, and heightened pleasure.

In addition to the risks associated with drug use, such as overdose, addiction, anxiety attacks, convulsions, loss of consciousness, depression, withdrawal, paranoia and anxiety, the practice of Chemsex considerably increases the risk of STIs. Indeed, under the influence of drugs, unprotected relations are more frequent.

Many doctors and psychologists agree that the medical profession needs to be made more aware of this practice, which has exploded over the past 5 years.
