Does sex addiction lead to rape?
Sexual addiction must be distinguished from sexual perversions and paraphilias (paraphilias are sexual disorders characterized by the presence of deviant, unusual fantasies or practices). The relationship between sexual addiction and sexual delinquency remains unclear to this day.
Hypersexuality is found in a number of sex offenders, but the risk of hypersexuality evolving into sexual delinquency remains unclear.
