Gabriel Attal

Gabriel Attal is Secretary of State to the Minister of National Education and Youth.
A member of Health Minister Marisol Touraine's cabinet from 2012 to 2017 and a Vanves municipal councillor since 2014, he was elected deputy for the tenth constituency of Hauts-de-Seine in 2017 under the La République en Marche (LREM) label.

At the French National Assembly, he is a member of the Commission for Cultural Affairs and Education, where he serves as coordinator of the LREM group. He is also rapporteur for the bill on student orientation and success. On October 16, 2018, he was appointed Secretary of State to the Minister of National Education and Youth.
