PREVENTION AND HEALTH MEETINGS - 2020
Youth suicide: the other emergency
Not very receptive to barrier measures and prevention, young people are going through the current global health crisis with a feeling of invulnerability.
Yet their mental health is an issue, sadly embodied in the high stagnation of suicide figures, the 2nd leading cause of death among young people after road accidents.
Ramsay Sante corporate Foundation wanted to understand why the numbers aren't dropping, and identify existing solutions, through two webinars for these Health Prevention Meetings 2020.
White Paper: Youth suicide: the other emergency
Three chapters to help you understand, present initiatives and take action:
- Young people and suicide: a state of emergency
- What do young people have to say about causes, prevention and support systems?
- New perspectives: building tomorrow's prevention
Part 1 - Current situation
This webinar will present the results of a study carried out with Jam, an interactive medium for young people, on their level of information about suicide.
The results will be commented on and enlightened by the speakers.
