Replay Young people and sexual health: what's the solution?

How can we better understand Generation Z's concerns about sexual health and the type of information they seek?

What impact do social networks have on new sexual behaviors?

With sexually-transmitted infections and diseases on the rise, the question of consent on the rise, and very young people's access to pornographic sites, the sexual health of young people has become a matter of concern.

As part of its commitment to informing and raising awareness about preventive health care, Ramsay Sante Foundation has chosen sexual health among 15-25 year-olds as the theme for its 6th Health Prevention Meetings event.

Ten experts from the public, private and voluntary sectors came together to share their knowledge of this new generation. They discussed the notion of sexual health, the information channels available to young people, the role of parents, national education and peers, as well as social networks and pornography.

The 6th Health Prevention Meetings was sponsored by the French Ministry of Health and Prevention, and hosted by editorial writer Christophe Barbier.

Part 1 takes a look at the current situation, and reveals theresults of a survey carried out for Ramsay Sante Foundation by the media company Jam by June, involving 1,000 young people aged 15 to 25.

The second section highlights some remarkable prevention initiatives, tools and programs developed at local or national level.
