The 3rd edition of the Prevent2Care Tour came to a close with awards for two associations
The Prevent2Care Tour 2022 has completed its 5th leg in Paris. Two winning associations each received a €5,000 prize from Ramsay Sante Foundation, Pfizer Innovation France and Inco, co-partners of the Prevent2Care Tour.
Once again, it was an opportunity for jury members to discover the innovative projects proposed by the competing associations, both in the field of health prevention and in the service of the general public.
An association dedicated to caregivers
" Avec nos proches ", based in Paris, acts to break the isolation and loneliness of "close caregivers". Through a prevention and awareness campaign entitled "Je suis soignant et je soutiens les aidants" (I'm a caregiver and I support caregivers), the association aims to raise awareness among healthcare professionals of the difficulties encountered by caregivers, and prevent the risk of burnout. The campaign includes the distribution of an information newsletter for caregivers, as well as a poster campaign throughout October in private practices, medical centers and pharmacies.

An association working for overweight children
Located in Éperlecques in the Hauts-de-France region, PAS'APA Sport Santé offers sports activities adapted to people suffering from a chronic pathology or wishing to resume physical activity gently. The association would like to set up a 6-week program aimed at overweight children aged 3 to 12. The program will include workshops on dietetics, psychology, medical follow-up and physical activity.

"In addition to national public health campaigns, associations play a vital role in raising awareness and commitment in the field. They are the ones who know the needs of the population, especially those who are farthest removed from preventive health care. They are the ones who carry out innovative projects with determination, so that everyone understands the importance of prevention," emphasizes Sylvie Arzelier, General Secretary of the Ramsay Santé Foundation.
