The APESAL association has been rewarded for its commitment to health prevention and screening for young people, from an early age. APESAL is recognized for its early detection of sensory disorders (hearing, sight), language disorders, oral and dental prevention, and obesity risk assessment, for nursery and elementary school children in the Nord department.

In 2024, APESAL plans to set up a multi-screening truck, also accessible to people with reduced mobility, to organize screening campaigns for young people in rural areas far from health care.

  • Hygie et Maintenant accompanies people coming out of heavy treatment after a long illness (cancer) to help them improve their quality of life. The association aims to prevent the risk of relapse, recurrence, depression or other pathologies. To this end, it has developed "Les séjours d'Hygie", 4-day stays for around ten people, with adapted physical activity sessions, nutrition courses, wellness sessions and moments of exchange. Hygie et Maintenant focuses on raising awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
  • Solidarité Enfant Sida (Sol En Si) supports families affected by HIV and/or hepatitis, and promotes sexual health among young people (in schools and universities). It raises awareness of HIV, AIDS and hepatitis among the general public, to combat the transmission of the virus and serophobia, and among health and social care professionals of the particularities of HIV, hepatitis and precariousness. To promote a positive emotional and sexual life among high school students in France, the association has created "SX": an interactive device combining art and prevention.
