Young people and sexual health: what's the solution?
Webinar on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 9:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Hosted by editorialist Christophe Barbier
These meetings are sponsored by the French Ministry of Health and Prevention.
Faced with a surge in sexually transmitted infections and diseases, unprotected sex, the emergence of questions of consent and gender, and very young people's access to porn on social networks, young people's sexual health has become A topic.
La Ramsay Sante Foundation, committed to health prevention for young people, wanted to understand how they find out about their sexual health. What are their main information channels? How do social networks induce new sexual behaviors? These are just some of the questions we'll be looking to answer, in order to build an appropriate prevention strategy.
9.45am to 11am:
The situation
The first round table will provide a reminder of what sexual health is, a look back at the 2021/2024 roadmap, data on young people's behavior, the role of schools, peers and experience sharing, and of course the impact of social networks.
11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.:
Remarkable actions
The second round-table discussion will focus on a number of remarkable prevention initiatives, tools and programs developed at local or national level.
